Tip # 14: Water Is The Enemy

Whether standing in a pool or running down the trail, water is the major culprit to trail erosion. Getting the water off the trail is one of the most important tasks of trail maintenance. Let them tell you where to put the drain. A properly drained trail will pack down solid and stay in good shape.
