Tip # 6: Get To Know Poison Oak Before It Gets to Know You

Learn to identify poison oak during the various seasons. Spring it’s green. Summer and Fall it’s red. Winter is the hardest. All you see is sticks. But those little sticks are still full of that nasty oil, so be careful. If you think that you’ve been in it, get those work clothes off as soon as you get home and take a shower. Do a pre-cleaning with Tech-Nu. It works pretty well.
