April 11, 2002 FYI to those planning a ride at SDSF this weekend: The Santa Cruz Sheriff's Department Search and Rescue Team will be conducting a training exercise on Saturday and Sunday April 13 - 14, 2002 on Soquel Demonstration State Forest. They will be utilizing a number of resources including search dogs, mounted posse, motorcycle posse, a helicopter and a fixed wing aircraft. As this is training exercise, please do not assist SAR personnel or interfere with their activities in any way. A few members of Stewards of Soquel Forest, ROMP and MBOSC will be posing as victims.
